The College applied for and was awarded funding by CPL Group to use towards new devices and laptops to increase the mobile flexible learning resource available to students.
The introduction of self-service lockers allows students to access devices as and when needed to complete their work. The devices will also be made available to students outside of lesson times for greater flexibility.
Karen Edmeads, Regional Procurement Advisor at Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC), part of the CPL Group, visited the College to present staff and students with their funding award.
Virginia Barrett, Principal at Farnborough College of Technology said:
We are delighted to be receiving funds that will help to create a modern technological environment at Aldershot College (part of Farnborough College of Technology), with the arrival of new laptop lockers. These will give greater flexibility and use of resources for both staff and students involved in our successful construction courses.
