CPL Group commenced a CPD accredited procurement training programme in February 2019 to support the education purchasing community with an initial investment of £35,000. The free training has been made available to all CPC members and has been delivered by experienced procurement training professionals.
The courses are a mixture of e-learning, self-study and class attendance to cater for different learning styles and time commitments. Each course has been designed to enhance personal and professional development whilst strengthening learner’s CV’s with CPD accredited skills.
The courses cover a range of practical procurement subjects, including:
- Writing a Tender Specification,
- Developing and Managing Contracts,
- Finance for Procurement Staff,
- Ethical Procurement and Supply,
- Evaluation Techniques and Public Procurement Law.
Dominic Peverell, Procurement Manager, E-ACT, attended the Writing a Tender Specification course in April 2019 and said:
“I would recommend the Writing a Tender Specification course as constant CPD is vital and this course is at the right level for refreshers for experienced procurement professionals but also new procurement professionals.”
The CPD training programme investment has so far supported 50 learners who work within educational establishments throughout the county and £10,000 in course fees have been committed from CPL Group so far.
Funding is still available for these fantastic courses, so if your educational organisation is a CPC member you can apply for your place today on the Crescent Learning website.
