A dynamometer is an accurate engine power measurement tool, with results transferred during the test to a handheld control box.  Dynamometer is used in the diagnosis of faults in certain tractor systems to include common rail engine technology, emission reduction technology, Hydraulic systems, mechanical drives and fuel consumption metering.

Farnborough College

To fund the purchase of mobile devices to increase mobile flexible learning.

Hockerhill Anglo European College

Funds to be used to purchase wide range of new sports equipment. Sports to encourage girls into participating in sport on the back of the success of Englands Women Cricketers, Footballers and Netballers. Facilities to be offered to the wider community as a key venue for competitive and non-competitive sporting events across the region.

Hopwood Hall College

This project will enable Hopwood Hall College to further enhance its existing learner enrichment programme to include a strong focus on sustainability and protecting the world we live in.  This will be achieved by using a unique interactive programme, which provides them with greater insight into the challenges we face regionally, nationally and internationally in reducing carbon emissions and ultimately global warming.

John Grant School

Farm to Fork - Grow their own produce on site and use in food technology classes.

A student run Café - SEND students prepare, cook and serve the food, as well as take orders and payment from customers.  Makes them aware of the working world.  The students have Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCP) in place and who are too vulnerable to go out into a workplace to gain this type of experience.  To help the students with lack of confidence issues.

North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College

First Aid Training for Students facilitated by St John's Ambulance.

Richard Huish College

Project to develop a programme that would offer support to students dealing with Wellbeing and Health and Prevention - online resource platform (WHAP) can be personalised to the schools requirements. Students would be offered podcasts, video, blogs and guest speakers.  In addition, to develop a bespoke exam stress and anxiety package.

Southampton City College

The aim of the project is to combine the objective of raising the profile of books, reading and literacy with encouraging the discussion of the tutorial themes.  Reading sessions to be held within the tutorial system.  A new set of books will be distributed each month with the topic of discussion each time being a different College tutorial theme.  these books then being passed to other student tutorial groups.   Distribution of free books to students who are reluctant and emergent readers of low-ability - many of whom speak English as a second language or come from deprived and vulnerable backgrounds.

St Mary's Catholic Academy (part of Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic MAT

To fund equipment needed for trip associated with Duke of Edinburgh Award - Cooking Equipment, Rucksacks, Tents and Sleeping Mats.

Many of the students are from hard-to-reach families, vulnerable/disadvantaged backgrounds with a range of social, emotional, behavioural and mental health issues.  To offer additional specialised support in the form of a tailored programme of activities to help students with self-confidence issues, low self-esteem, and exam stress.
